Palliative Care Massage/Bodywork Award
KEITH BROUGHT MUCH KNOWLEDGE OF HOW MASSAGE
THERAPY & BODYWORK CAN IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF
A TEENAGER EXPERIENCING DIABETES & LEUKEMIA
Beloved son of Synergy Massage & Wellness Center founders Margie and Craig Schaeffer who passed from complications of diabetes and leukemia.
This fund will assist professional massage therapist(s) who are in attendance to a selected professional massage conference with books, continuing education, equipment, supplies or child care expenses while studying massage therapy/bodywork for continuing education.
It will be awarded annually at the selected massage conference based on:
- Completion of a written description of a palliative care massage/bodywork experience that demonstrates the improvement of the quality of life for a client(s) diagnosed with pathological conditions(s) that are life threatening or chronic.
- Proof of a state professional massage licensure, registration, certificate
- Proof of NCTMB certification or successful FSTMB exam completion for states without government regulation.
Applications are requested from the Awarding conference and mailed directly to:
