Mark J. Pierpont, LMT, Synergy Graduate Class of 2010
Mark holds a National Certification in massage therapy and is Pennsylvania Licensed #MSG002549. He has enjoyed a multitude of different jobs throughout his life, anything from a certified personal trainer (AAAI and ASMI) to a youth correctional officer to even a bank teller, all which he feels has contributed to his ability to help the public with their needs. Mark is advancing his massage & bodywork skills by mentoring with Margie Schaeffer weekly at Synergy
Mark enjoys incorporating a variety of different modalities (Craniosacral therapy, Lymphatic Massage, Swedish, Stretching) while doing therapeutic relaxation massages, but his passion lies in doing advanced sports, deep tissue and medical massages which are best scheduled with 90 minute sessions. His enthusiasm to work with clients, his knowledge of anatomy, and his desire to learn as much as he can about the massage field is evident in his every touch. Mark is available for off-site massage services for group functions such as health fairs, home parties and office occasions, as well as individual house and hotel in-room calls.

Dru Tresselt, LMT – Synergy Graduate, Class of 2009
Dru holds a National Certification in massage and is a Licensed MassageTherapist in Maryland. She enjoys helping to facilitate balance and harmony within each client as he or she receives massage. Through relaxation in Swedish massage, therapeutic bodywork, deep tissue techniques and stretching, each individual can experience the flow of his or her body’s a healthy, natural rhythm. Dru’s focus is to provide quality, individualized massage to her clients incorporating a variety of bodywork modalities. Additional specialties for Dru are personal fitness training and yoga. She is an ACE (American Council on Exercise) Certified Personal Trainer and a Yoga Alliance, 200 hour, Registered Yoga Teacher. Her training as a yoga teacher is through the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health and she maintains a membership with the Kripalu Yoga Teachers Association.

Annalee Bentz, LMT Synergy Graduate, Class of 2010
Annalee Bents, LMT graduated from Synergy Healing Arts Center & Massage School on September 31, 2010. She is nationally certified in massage with the NCBTMB, as well as a Pennsylvania licensed massage therapist. She enjoys helping people slow down and relax. She is a member of the Thurmont Guardian Hose Company and is preparing to become a member of the American Massage Therapy Association Emergency Response Team (MERT). Her services include the traditional Full Body Swedish Massage and the Swedish Craniosacral, Lymphatic Integrated massage session for those who need ultimate relaxation for reduction of stress. Bob Hunter, Certified Feldenkrais® Practitioner
The Feldenkrais Method® of Somatic Education. Bob has provided guidance in easier, more pain free movement at Synergy since it opened. He first experienced the benefits of the Method for himself in 1985, when it helped him overcome a disabling back injury. He has been a certified practitioner since 1994. He has offered the work in many settings including college wellness programs, martial arts school, horseback riding clubs, dance classes, and music conservatories. At Synergy he provides both individually tailored guidance (Functional Integration®) and group lessons (Awareness Through Movement®) as well as specialized workshops (Effortless Gardening, Dynamic Sitting). She gained her Associate of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Penn State University, Mont Alto, PA. in 1988 and has been working in the field of physical therapy since 1992. She Instructed and assisted patients on a daily basis and performed neuromuscular facilitation in PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation), NDT (Neuromuscular Developmental Techniques) and other prosthetic rehabilitation and physical therapy modalities for pain, wound care and muscle re –education at Western Maryland Hospital Center Hagerstown, Maryland
Her present full-time position at the Western Maryland Hospital is Director of the Safety and Security Department. She works on a part-time basis as a massage therapist at Synergy and finds that her training in physical therapy helps her understanding of the use of massage for pain relief for her clients.

Barbara Yeinger, - Certified Reflexologist
Trained with a special form of therapeutic massage, a reflexologist gently puts pressure on the reflex points of the client's feet, hands or ears to relieve stress and enhance circulation to release the body's natural healing mechanisms. Based on the therapeutic concept that the body's glands and ogans have corresponding reflex points from nerve endings on our feet, hands, or ears, applying the right pressure to these areas can have a postitive influence on our health as well as indicating possible ailments to be properly diagnosed medically.
Barbara graduated with honors from the Baltimore School of Reflexology. She has been providing services to the Pennsylvania and Maryland communities for 10 years now. She truly cares for her clients and demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills.
Barbara also utilizes adjunctive therapies, such as, essential oils, herbs, paraffin baths and herbal foot soaks with lavender and jasmine herb tea bags. She refers patients to doctor specialists for health conditions as may be indicated in the reflexology session.
