Rotunda Chair Massage Program
AMTA PA volunteers provide
chair massage to State Senators, Representatives of the House and fellow
staff members of the Capitol Building on
a Wednesday of every
month between
the hours of 10:00 am and 2:00pm.
This is a perfect
opportunity to meet and educate our legislators about massage and its
benefits. Our
own Tamara Gregg has been volunteering as a student and as a professional.
She says
"It's very rewarding to be able to help a person to relax and release
shoulder tension from sitting at a desk all day. I have gained a lot
personally and professionally from the experience. Watching the other
massage therapists’ work is a learning experience. It's fun meeting
and talking with interesting people from the political world. I had
the opportunity to tour the Capitol building, and have gained a deeper
insight into how bills work their way through government".
Please take the time to volunteer.
